Bikini Bay
After 15 years in the retail clothing business, founder Lidia Kisliuk needed to
purchase a swimsuit for a cruise she was about to go on. After searching through
several department stores and a number of specialty swimwear boutiques, she was
quite disappointed. There didn’t seem to be a store out there that provided a
great selection of styles and sizes in a variety of swimsuits to fit the
majority of women out there. Lidia was equally disappointed by the lack of
product knowledge and customer service she received in both the department
stores and the so called specialty swimwear boutiques. She was confident that
she could do a much better job.
In 1992, Bikini Bay was born, founded by
Lidia, her husband Alex, and her son Bo. Bikini Bay’s vision was to offer a
variety of sizes and styles that fit every body type to reveal the beauty in
every woman! - Our motto reflects our vision: A Suit for "Every Body".
Starting from one store, we have successfully expanded to 10 locations in the
Greater Toronto Area, as well as a store in Las Vegas. We currently produce many
of the swimsuits and accessories we sell, incorporating feedback from our
customers into each design.
At Bikini Bay we have designed our stores to be a
comfortable environment for selecting your next swimsuit. Our highly trained
sales associates, with extensive knowledge in both fit and product selection for
certain body types, are there to assist you in choosing the perfect swimsuit for
you!
